EPISODE 58
09/21/06

This week is a Geek Double-Feature, where the geeks examine and explore the issues of:

NET NEUTRALITY

In the past the internet has been mostly un-regulated, but now a new initiative is going forward to legislate that all data on the internet be treated equally, without bias. Is this legislation necessary to keep ISP providers from "censoring" the internet, or is this an example of the government intruding with too many rules?

UNCOMFORTABLE ROLE PLAYING SITUATIONS

What do you do when you're role playing and an uncomfortable situation comes up, such as rape or racism? When is it an appropriate and a normal part of roleplaying a realistic character and experience within a game? When does it cross ethical lines, and more importantly, how do you tell?
